Overview:
The Level 3 Education and Training qualification is designed for an introduction to teaching; for those who work or would like to work in the further education and skills sector for, e.g. Further Education (FE) Colleges, Independent Training Providers, and/or Local Authorities.
Who is it for?
Learners will have an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities related to planning and delivering including training sessions. The main topics covered in this qualification are:
- Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
- Relationships between teachers and other teaching professionals
- Assessing Learners and providing constructive
- Developmental feedback
Assessment:
The qualification is assessed in two steps; theoretical assessment (includes written assignments, written questions, case study) and practical assessment.
